The International Recycling Incubation Summit (IRIS), a flagship programme of the IPCA Centre for Waste Management and Research, TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS), is set to take center stage on January 16-17, 2026, at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, India. IRIS is dedicated to addressing the complex challenges of waste management and its vital connections to broader sectoral and sustainability goals.

With the theme ‘Integrating Sustainable Waste Supply Chain Logistics and Low-Carbon Pathways for a Circular Economy’, the IRIS 2026 aims to bring together diverse stakeholders including Policy makers, Government officials, Industry leaders, Recyclers, ULBs and NGOs, Academia from national and international universities to advance research, dialogue, and collaborative action in the fields of waste management and the circular economy. The two-day event will feature:

• Innovation showcases from Indian unicorns and startups
• Youth competitions across schools and universities for practical recycling solutions
• A conference around the theme, comprising 8 thematic tracks
• Industry and CSR exhibitions to spotlight scalable business models and community-driven impact

Call for Papers

The Call for Papers is now open for the International Conference on ‘Integrating Sustainable Waste Supply Chain Logistics and Low-Carbon Pathways for a Circular Economy’. Research papers are invited from a wide variety of interdisciplinary and theoretical perspectives for presentation at the international conference. The submissions are organised into 8 thematic tracks mentioned below:

2. Circular Supply Chain Design for Low-Carbon Transition
3. Optimisation Models for Waste Management Logistics
4. Policy and Regulatory Frameworks for Circular and Low-Carbon Economies
5. Industrial Waste Management and Urban Mining

7. Social and Behavioural Aspects for Low-Carbon and Circular Economies
8. Collaborative Approaches for Circular and Low-Carbon Economies
