The Sultanate of Oman is preparing to host Oman Climate Week 2026, the country’s leading national event dedicated to advancing climate action and sustainability. The event will take place from 14 to 16 September 2026, in partnership with the Environment Authority Oman, with the participation of a distinguished group of experts, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world.
The event, organized by Arabian Research Bureau, will serve as a central platform bringing together all stakeholders involved in climate action, reinforcing national efforts toward achieving carbon neutrality, and supporting the goals of Oman Vision 2040 as well as international commitments under the Paris Agreement.
Oman Climate Week aims to accelerate climate action by unifying efforts between the public and private sectors, in addition to research institutions and civil society, with a focus on energy transition, climate finance, and environmental resilience.
The event will feature a specialized exhibition for climate solutions—the first of its kind in the Sultanate of Oman—bringing together solution providers, companies, investors, and government entities under one roof to showcase the latest technologies and services across energy, water, industry, and environmental sectors, contributing to the acceleration of sustainable project implementation.
The event will also feature high-level conferences bringing together climate experts and decision-makers to discuss national and regional priorities. It will include CEO panel discussions, practical workshops, specialized training programs, a competitive hackathon, a Women in Climate Forum, and community activities aimed at building capacity, exchanging knowledge, and promoting the practical application of climate solutions.
The event will also enhance collaboration opportunities through business matchmaking meetings and dedicated partnership platforms, facilitating the signing of agreements and memoranda of understanding, in addition to a media platform for live coverage and engagement with media outlets.
Organizers emphasized that Oman Climate Week 2026 represents a strategic platform for launching practical solutions, strengthening partnerships, and supporting innovation in sustainability, reinforcing Oman’s position as a regional hub for climate action and sustainable development.
