Researcher

Ms. Richa Bhusan
Richa Bhusan is a technology and strategy professional with demonstrated industry expertise in carbon capture technology. She has over 3 years of experience in the Energy Industry in oil and gas processing, emission reduction etc.
Being motivated to solve the problem of climate change in the age of the Energy crisis, she is focused on increasing her learning curve in the space of green energy alternatives. Her research focuses on these technological solutions and their net impact in improving climate health.
Richa holds a Dual degree (B.Tech+M.Tech) in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. During her university days, she has published academic research papers in Microfluidics on Droplet movement without external energy with the use of Chemical gradient. She had also developed a prototype for hybrid energy, combining Solar and Vibration Energy.
Apart from technology, Richa is also a strong ambassador for gender and women empowerment and education for all.
For GWCN, Richa's research work will largely focus on the technological solutions for reducing gaseous wastes if we aim to meet the targets of the Paris Agreement.
