Erin Stackowitz is an experienced qualitative and quantitative clinical researcher at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. Her work involves the study of rare pediatric neuromuscular and mitochondrial diseases and is published in these areas. She has also served as a micro-finance country liaison for small businesses in Kenya, Ghana and Zambia and is passionate about sustainability, financial literacy, and solving health inequities.

She is interested in working with the UN and GWCN to look more closely at how climate change and environmental factors further exacerbate health related outcomes. Her research experience is broad and interdisciplinary.
