Mr. Anand Jayshette


Anand Jayshette is Senior Research Fellow pursuing his PhD in Political Science at the Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. He has an excellent academic record with securing constant distinction rank at all educational levels. He has been a meritorious student clearing the hypercompetitive National Eligibility Test (N.E.T.), receiving highly prestigious Junior Research Fellowship (J.R.F.) in political science from the University Grants Commission. He is also working as a research coordinator with the Global Counter Terrorism Council.

Anand has been a United Nations Volunteer working with different organizations on different projects across the world. His research areas of interest have been green political theory, environmental politics and sustainable development. He has been widely appreciated for his presence in international as well as national conferences.

Apart from having luminous academic background, he is a trained Hindustani classical vocalist as well as harmonium player.
