Ms. Kunda Nyirongo
Kunda Nyirongo holds a bachelor of education degree in environmental education and a master of public health with environmental health attained from the University of Zambia. Kunda is an experienced professional in the field of environmental management, public health and research. With more than four years experience in environmental consultancy and research, she has worked with both local and international organizations.
Kunda is passionate about strengthening food security amid climate change in agriculture and using waste as a resource for energy, along with conducting evidence based implementative qualitative and quantitative research centred on driving policy formulation and providing solutions to this era's problems so as to better people's livelihoods.
She currently serves as a national research specialist with the United Nations Development Program. She is interested in environmental pollution remediation, environmental education, energy, waste as a resource and climate change adaptation strategies.
